What they are saying about us:

"As a result of your joyful music, we received so many compliments on your performance. We were privileged to have you perform at our anniversary."
Debbie Visconti (Community Centre 55)

"Wow! That was an amazing concert last night. Your choir is soaringly wonderful - beautiful voices and harmonies. And the instrumental stuff was great. Terrific choice of music - perfectly balanced."
Gay Claitman & Kent Bowman

"I know that you have been making great music and selling out. It really does sound like you have everything you need as I have never heard of a choir selling out in its 1st season. Congratulations! I am sure you'll be around in 20 years."

"Fabulous! The music was great and well performed. I really enjoyed the talk given at beginning."

"On the eve prior to the first day of December, the threat of the first winter storm of the season could not deter the Beach community and music fans from filling the pews at the inaugural concert for the newly formed Toronto Beach Chorale held at Kingston Road United Church on Nov 30th [2008].
It was a concert full of traditional favourites, including Cantata #140 “Wachet Auf!” by J.S. Bach, and a Christmas suite of seasonal music by John Rutter. The chorale was conducted by Mervin Fick. Special guest soloists included Janet Obermeyer (soprano), Michael Downie (bass), Sean Clark (tenor) and Orchestra.
Congratulations “Toronto Beach Chorale” on your successful inaugural concert!!"

The Toronto Beach Chorale
A Concert Choir in Your Community

The Toronto Beach Chorale is an auditioned community concert choir of over 40 men and women - young adults to seniors.  We are vocalists with a passion and talent for a broad selection of musical genres.  We're committed to bringing high quality choral music to our community -- to enhance the lives of our neighbours and serve the causes they support.

Our artistic director is Mervin Fick, an experienced and highly respected choral conductor.  The choir is managed by a team of the Beach's own successful community and business leaders, and is supported in part by funding from the Toronto Arts Council as well as a number of corporate and individual sponsors in the community.
